Injustice And Other Great Games Will Soon Be Free For PS Plus Subscribers

by Ben Reeves on Nov 04, 2014 at 08:50 AM

NetherRealm Studio’s 2013 fighter, Injustice: Gods Among Us, took most of DC’s heavy hitters and threw them into an alternate dimension where they were forced to duke it out. The game was a blast, but it would be a lot better if it were free. Fortunately, PS Plus subscribers can check out the game for the price of a breath of air. [Excerpt

Sony just tweeted out an image of Injustice: Gods Among Us, calling it sneak peek for their upcoming PS Plus free games.

In addition to Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, PS4 users will be able to download the wild west-themed Secret Ponchos.

Sony also commented on Driveclub’s delay from the instant game collection. It sounds like that title will still need some more time in the cooker before it's ready for release, but as a concession, in January, Sony will be adding Infamous First Light and The Swapper to the list of free PS4 games. Don't forget about November's lineup of titles, which includes get The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Steamworld Dig.

Our Take
I think this is great. The PS4's library isn't as robust as I would have liked, but Injustice is a great fighting game, and even though it was also out for the PS3 and 360, it's one of the better PS4 games I've played so far. If you haven't checked it out already, you'll have no excuse in a month or two. Infamous First Light and The Swapper are also great games, so this should be a good couple months for PS Plus subscribers.
