Turtle Rock Wants To Stress Test Evolve's Servers Today

by Kyle Hilliard on Nov 02, 2014 at 06:04 AM

Evolve's alpha is still going strong, but Turtle Rock wants to push it to its limits before pulling the plug.

In an e-mail sent to alpha participants, Turtle Rock thanked everyone for helping to test the servers, but also asked that everyone sign on today to help push the servers harder.

Today, Sunday, we want you to return to Shear and the join the hunt for Turtle Rock Studios, who'll be playing alongside you as we stress test the servers one more time.

Login between 1PM and 3PM Pacific (9PM and 11PM UTC) and enjoy the hunt!

Unfortunately, the PlayStation 4 version of Evolve's alpha is still offline. The latest update on the PlayStation 4 alpha was about eight hours ago on twitter and reads, "Work continues around the clock to resolve difficulties with Evolve #BigAlpha for PS4. We want you to play, and will update when we can."

In the mean time, Turtle Rock has made it easier to participate in the Xbox One and PC alphas, which you can learn more about here. For our hands-on with Evolve's alpha, head here, and to see us play the game in an episode of Test Chamber, head here.
