Take Pretty Pictures Of Ugly Orcs With Shadow Of Mordor’s New Photo Mode

by Mike Futter on Oct 16, 2014 at 10:34 AM

Warner Bros. and Monolith have delivered a new, free update for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. Following in the footsteps of Infamous: Second Son and The Last of Us, you’re now able to take photos in-game.

To use the Photo mode, you’ll need to enable it in the options menu. Once you’ve done that, you can toggle it on, rotate and move the camera, tilt the image, apply filters, change the depth of field, and add borders.

The update is available now for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 and coming soon on PC. For more, check out our review of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.

Update: Good news, PC players. Shadow of Mordor community manager and writer Andy Salisbury says the photo mode update is now ready for you, too.
