Warner Bros. Announces DC Comics Film Strategy Through 2020

by Andrew Reiner on Oct 15, 2014 at 09:22 AM

The Ben Affleck led Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just the start of Warner Bros. ambitious plans to bring DC Comics' stable of heroes to the silver screen. Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara outlined the company's strategy from now until 2020 during today's Time Warner shareholder meeting.

The news reveals solo films are planned for Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Cyborg, The Flash, Shazam, and Aquaman (yes, you read that last one correctly). Many of these characters will unite in two Justice League films. Some villains should also get time in the spotlight in a Suicide Squad movie.
