Tear Up The Strip With Grid Autosport’s Drag Pack DLC
Grid Autosport boasted high speed circuit racing when it released in June (our review), but now developer Codemasters is throwing the intensity of drag racing into the mix. Available today for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, the new Drag Pack DLC adds a drag racing mode to the game.
Autosport’s customization and tuning options are still in place for this new mode. Players will have to pay attention to gear ratios, the timing of their gear changes, and make use of counter steering if they’re to succeed in this different style of racing. In addition, most of the cars previously available in Autosport, namely the hypercars and supercars, will be compatible with the drag racing mode.
The pack also adds three new drag cars and three drag strips to race them on: Hockenheimring, the Autosport Raceway, and Detroit. Players can compete with these new vehicles competitively online, or offline in nine new single player championships.
The Drag Pack is available now on Steam, the PlayStation Store, and the Xbox Live Marketplace for $4.99. Check out the trailer above for a preview of the new cars and drag strips.
