Sharlto Copley Stars In First Trailer For PSN Exclusive Show, Powers
New York Comic Con offered Sony's first peak at the upcoming PlayStation Network television series based on the comic series Powers.
The show stars Sharlto Copley (District 9) as Christian Walker and Susan Heyward (Mother of George, The Following) as Deena Pilgrim as they conduct police investigations involving super powers.
The show comes from the same studio as Breaking Bad and fully embraces its non-television exclusivity with the liberal use of profanity (as a heads-up). The show will premiere exclusively on PlayStation Network this winter and PlayStation Plus members will have access to the entire show as part of their subscription.

Our Take
I didn't realize Sharlto Copley was starring in the show until seeing this trailer, and his presence completely ignites my interest. I'm not familiar with the comic, and wasn't particularly interested in watching the show, but I love Copley's work in District 9, and just about everything else I've seen him in. I'll definitely be checking out the pilot.
