Check Out Test Footage From The Upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Cartoon
The Guardians of the Galaxy are headed for their own Marvel animated series. If you’ve been paying attention though, you’ll know that this isn’t the first time they’ve been on the small screen.
The Guardians have appeared on Ultimate Spider-Man, but this time, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot are keeping the spotlight to themselves. The quintet has been big for Marvel, which has made some smart moves to capitalize on this summer’s film.
Disney Infinity 2.0 features a Guardians of the Galaxy playset, with seven characters from the movie available in toy form (Ronan the Accuser and Yondu are coming later, but the heroes are available now). All five of the Guardians and Ronan were also available in 2013’s Lego Marvel Super Heroes.
You can check out the test footage above. The show will be out in 2015 on Disney XD. If you want to see the Guardians of the Galaxy episode of Ultimate Spider-Man, it’s available on Netflix.
