Valiant Hearts' Story Expands With Free Interactive Comic

by Matthew Stolpe on Oct 08, 2014 at 01:15 PM

When the puzzle/adventure game Valiant Hearts: The Great War came out earlier this year, many praised its art direction and comic book style. It comes as little surprise then that Ubisoft has announced an interactive comic book inspired by the game’s story.

Available for iOS devices November 6, the free comic follows the story of Walt the dog and his sister as they traverse the Western Front delivering messages to the Allies and rescuing fallen soldiers. Readers can interact with the comic through touch navigation to experience the animated panels, music, and sound effects that populate the pages. As you can see from the page image below, the comic doesn’t appear to stray too far from The Great War’s unique art style.
