The luxury carmaker is letting prospective owners "test drive" its new RC F car with the Oculus Rift.

The company created this demo, a perfect scale representation of the car's interior, for the 2014 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in Monterey, California. By strapping on the Oculus, and using the provided steering wheel and pedals, users can take the RC F for a spin on a virtual 3D racetrack. Pretty neat.

Our Take:
Facebook didn't just buy Oculus Rift for its gaming applications. There's no doubt the company sees many more marketing and advertising uses for the technology. This is only the beginning.
