The Dark Knight’s Batmobile Is Hiding Under The Millennium Falcon
There is no logical reason why anyone would want a Batman / Star Wars crossover other than to geek out about as hard as is possibly conceivable. What would a Jedi look like in Gotham? Would Batman be a bounty hunter among the stars (and would he be Twi’lek to mimic the cowl ears)?
We may never know how that would play out, but a bit of Batman will be hidden in the new J.J. Abrams Star Wars films, according to a video posted by Abram's Bad Robot production company. As you can see in the video below, the Batmobile from the Christopher Nolan films can be seen affixed to the bottom of the Millennium Falcon.
J.J. Abrams has been tackling a lot of different properties lately. Could Batman be next? Is Christian Bale headed for a role in Episode 7? Or is this just a really cool nod for fans? Regardless, it makes me want to re-watch Nolan’s Batman trilogy as I get even more excited for a new run of Star Wars movies.
