Where's Our Destiny Review?
Bungie's massively multiplayer shooter, Destiny, releases tomorrow. The servers are live right now. Everything appears to be ready, but there's one thing missing: reviews. If you're waiting to see an official score before picking up the game, you have to wait a bit longer.
In Bungie's update this week, the developer explains that it intentionally held off on sending early review copies. The reason? Too much of the experience rests on the world being populated by thousands of players, which means waiting until the game sees its full release. Evaluating it before then wouldn't really be evaluating the full game.
We have our copies now, and we are playing the game. The review embargo lifts tomorrow morning. However, Destiny is big, and we're not going to post our review until we're satisfied we have a complete picture of what it offers.
