Bandai Namco Producer Promises More Than Just Fighting Types For Pokkén
Confirming our assumptions, the Bandai Namco Pokémon fighting game will definitely feature more than just fighting type Pokémon.

The confirmation comes from Katsuhiro Harada, who works extensively on fighting games for Bandai Namco and has been for two decades. Responding to fan inquiry, Harada said it won't just be fighting type Pokémon in Pokkén – which isn't yet confirmed for release outside of Japanese arcades.

To be clear, Snorlax is in no way confirmed to be a fighter. I chose his picture as a form of wishful thinking. I hope he's a fighter, and I hope he just sort of gingerly rolls back and forth as his only attack.
