CD Projekt Red, Dark Horse Comics Releasing Witcher Companion Book
CD Projekt Red and Dark Horse Comics have announced a companion book for the series, called The World of the Witcher. The 184-page hardcover is filled with art from the game, as well as background information on the places, creatures, and weapons that Geralt has and will encounter in his travels.
"Dark Horse is very enthusiastic about expanding our collaboration with CD Projekt Red with The World of The Witcher," says Nick McWhorter, vice president of licensing at Dark Horse Comics. "This book is a perfect way for fans to take a deep dive into the vast and compelling lore Red has created with The Witcher franchise, whether they are longtime followers of the games and novels or are being introduced to this world for the first time.”
The book has a list price of $39.99, and you can preorder it from Amazon in advance of its March 2015 release date. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is set for a February 24, 2015, release on the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
