[Update] Torchlight Free For Two Hours From GoG.com

by Mike Futter on Jun 24, 2014 at 12:14 PM

Update #2: Here's another chance to get a free game. Runic's Torchlight is available for free for the next two hours on GoG.com.

Again, don't look for the game using the search feature. Find it on the home page and click the "Free" button to lock in your ownership of this great single-player action-RPG.

Update #1: If you happened to miss out on a free copy of Omerta: City of Gangsters, you have a shot at another freebie right now. GoG.com is offering 2009 adventure game Still Life 2 at no charge for two hours. It looks like the offer expires at 3:00 p.m. Eastern, so move fast.

Same deal as before. Scroll down the front page and look for the listing. The free offer won't be reflected if you search for the game.

Original Story:

GoG.com is in the midst of its summer sale, and right now, you can get a game for free. Omerta: City of Gangsters can be yours at no cost, but only if you act fast.

In order to claim the Atlantic City gangster sim, head over to GoG.com and scroll down the front page until you find the game. The free offer will not show up if you use the site’s search feature.

Click the “free” button and you’ll be put in queue to receive your copy in your GoG.com library. As long as you lock in your interest before time runs out, it’s yours.

We think the deal expires at 11:00 a.m. Eastern, so move fast. You can read our review of the game for more information (but maybe do that after you redeem your copy to make sure you don’t delay).
