This Week In Mobile - High Profile Ports And Exciting Exclusives

It's shaping up to big a big week for iOS gamers, with a couple anticipated ports headed their way. There are even a few interesting looking mobile exclusives coming out. Whether you're a fan of brutal action games, bullet hell shoot-em-ups, classic adventures, or even silly mini-game collections, mobile's got a little something for everyone to check out this week.

Broken Age-Act 1
Developer: Double Fine
Platforms: iOS
Price: $9.99

Tim Schafer’s famous kickstarted adventure game is out on iOS. Broken Age tells the story of Vella Tartine and Shay Volta, two teenagers coming of age in very different worlds. Broken Age features an all-star voice cast, including Elijah Wood and Jack Black, and HD graphics. Part 2 will also be available for iOS later as an in-app purchase. Realm of the Mad God

The free-to-play MMO that describes itself as a “massively-multiplayer cooperative bullet hell shooter” finally makes its way to iOS. Players experience the typical MMO gameplay of teaming up with each other to quest, level up, and get loot, but with the fast-paced, crazy gameplay of a Bullet Hell game.

Are You A Dodo?

This set of nine brain-teaser mini games will find out once and for all if you are smarter than a Dodo. Challenge friends with competitive modes, use power-ups to further increase your high-scores, and rank up on the leaderboards to prove yourself the least dodo-like. 

Lego Marvel Super Heroes: Universe in Peril

Price: $4.99

This Lego Marvel action-adventure game featuring over 91 playable characters came to consoles and handhelds last year, and now it’s coming to iOS as well. Play as all the Marvel heroes as they team up to stop Loki and the other villains from unleashing a super weapon. This port will include all the staple gameplay from Lego titles and include either “console” or “touch screen” controls that can be switched between on the fly.

Godfire: Rise of Prometheus

Price: $6.99

This third-person action-adventure game channels God of War with levels inspired by Greek mythology, brutal combat, puzzle solving, leveling and equipment customization, and huge boss battles. Follow the eponymous Prometheus on his quest to steal the Godfire Spark and ascend to power in the story mode or fight countless waves of enemies in the Survival mode.
