Visceral Games' announcement of the Battlefield: Hardline beta was a surprise at the EA press conference, and now the developer is extending the closed beta on the PlayStation 4 and PC.

The beta will continue for an additional week until Thursday, June 26, at noon Pacific.

Registration on the two systems is open until Sunday, June 22, at noon Pacific. Head over to the official site to sign up, as well as see the beta rewards.

Visceral says that the game's open beta for all the platforms (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC) will start some time in the fall in advance of the game's October 21 release date.

Our Take
I would have to think that the beta's continuation has to be a pretty good sign that Visceral's cops and robbers multiplayer is resounding pretty well with gamers.
