Here’s The Exclusive PlayStation Content For Destiny

by Mike Futter on Jun 16, 2014 at 03:30 PM

The Destiny first look alpha is now over, and our quest to protect the galaxy is on hold until the beta next month. To fill the void, we’ve got some new information about what you’ll get if you decide to purchase the title on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3.

When Destiny launches, PlayStation players will have access to an exclusive strike on Mars. The Dust Palace includes a new type of enemy and a quest through an abandoned skyscraper for you and two of your friends.

You’ll also get the Exodus Blue competitive multiplayer map. This is a mid-sized arena with both control and skirmish modes that takes place on a decrepit ship.

There are also weapons and armor for each class. Three different ships area also bundled in with these versions.

For more on Destiny, check out our Test Chamber. The beta begins first on PlayStation systems next month with release coming on September 9 to Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.

Our Take
I’m not sure if any of these items are enough to sway my platform choice in a game so heavily reliant on playing with friends. However, if you were already planning on playing on a PlayStation system (or you don’t have friends pulling you one way or the other), this might lure you in.
