Aaron Paul Will Turn On Your Xbox One
Xbox One new commercial features Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul using the Kinect’s voice sensor to turn on menus and navigate the system. However, Xbox One owners have reported that when Paul says “Xbox One on” early in the ad, his Xbox isn’t the only one starting up.
The ad wants to emphasize the fact that you can remotely turn on the Xbox One with only your voice using Kinect, and from that perspective it has certainly succeeded. Owners of Microsoft’s newest console have been reporting over Twitter and Reddit that when they are watching TV in the room where their systems are plugged in, Aaron Paul turns their Xbox Ones on along with his own.
While the ironic situation could be considered frustrating, you have to admire truth in advertising. You can watch the ad below. If you have an Xbox One, see if Aaron Paul can turn yours on, too.
