Super Mario 3D World Spin-Off Captain Toad Game Announced [Trailer Added]
Nintendo's first four-player 3D co-op game was a successful experiment for the company. While we loved leaping across hazards and transforming into cats with friends, we also adored Captain Toad's miniature adventures presented in a "garden in a box" view. Nintendo has announced that the simple, adorable game mode is being fleshed out into a full Wii U title.
Little is known about Captain Toad Treasure Tracker outside that players will once again control Captain Toad on his adventures. The platforming puzzles will once again focus on rotating the small environment to observe it from multiple perspectives.
Toad's starring leading roles are few and far between, and we can't think of a better Mushroom Kingdom citizen to feature than Captain Toad himself.
