Princess Zelda And Midna Playable In Hyrule Warriors [Trailer Added]

by Kyle Hilliard on Jun 10, 2014 at 06:34 AM

Link has been the star of every Hyrule Warriors trailer, and Impa has been confirmed playable, but the roster still has more to offer.

Today Nintendo revealed Midna and Princess Zelda – a character Nintendo fans rarely get the opportunity to play as – were announced as playable, but that’s not all. In Nintendo’s Direct conference, the developers and Zelda series producer Eiji Anonuma promise that everyone will be able to play as their favorite characters, and they will all have their own move sets.

We’ve seen Link doing some fancy sword work, but today’s video also showed Zelda using a huge collection of light arrows, and Midna using her ethereal hand to swat away enemies.

Along with the reveal of characters and more gameplay footage, Nintendo also says a two-player mode will be available so players can play together, one on the television, and one on the GamePad.

Hyrule Warriors is coming to Wii U on September 26.
