Kirby’s Curse Returns In Claymation 3DS Adventure [Trailer Added]

Today Nintendo announced a Wii U follow-up to the DS game Kirby: Canvas Curse. Kirby and the Rainbow Curse continues the original's stylus-based path drawing on the Wii U GamePad, adding in a dose of claymation-style visuals.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse looks every bit as colorful and cheerful as series fans have come to expect. Users draw a rainbow path that the pink puffball rolls along to smash through obstacles like stacks of spiky seashells. One gameplay snippet shows Kirby blasting projectiles at a huge star block to clear the path, while another shows him transform into a rocket.

The game will arrive on the Wii U next year.
