Sony Shows Off Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Trailer

by Ben Reeves on Jun 09, 2014 at 05:02 PM

Kojima's new trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain leaked a little early last night, but during the Sony press conference at E3, Sony debuted the slick new trailer.

Metal Gear V's new trailer starts with a vulture over some bodies, and then some music kicks in and there is smoke. Suddenly, we see Snake looking all badass. Some dudes are standing in front of a fire and then Snake takes a container holding some soldier's ashes and smears them across his face. This makes him look really tough, but then the trailer flashes and his face is covered in blood. During the trailer, I turned to one of my co-workers and said, "I wouldn't want to fight him." That's a true story.

The trailer also shows off a lot of people fighting and stabbing each other; the game looks really hardcore.

Basically, if you're a fan of Metal Gear then you'll probably have a lot to look forward to, especially after seeing this trailer.
