The lights are on
Sony has finally nailed down a date for its long-awaited PlayStation Now program, which allows users to play older titles from PlayStation's past via streaming gameplay.
The open beta launches on PlayStation 4 in the United States and Canada on July 31and shortly thereafter on PlayStation 3 and Vita. PlayStation Now will also eventually work on select Sony TVs as long as you have a DualShock 3 controller.
Games like Dead Space 3, Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be among the first on the service.
About time! Can't wait to see some prices.
Still dying for a full list of games, and price listings.
Can't wait.
i am super excited for this.
This actually sounds pretty amazing.
Not to mention people without consoles can play. Seems like a small detail that could actually completely change the landscape in the future.
I am looking forward to trying out the service to play some PS3 games I missed out on last gen.
Interesting. I'm curious as to why you need a Sony tv.
