The lights are on
Today at Electronic Arts' E3 press conference, BioWare showed glimpses of an impressive dragon battle and the heroes that make up Dragon Age's titular Inquisition. BioWare started the presentation by showing a short montage of players fighting a massive Fereldan Frostback dragon. Players can target body parts in real-time, and the chaotic action looked gorgeous. However, players can still switch to the series' traditional tactical camera to pause the action and strategize as much as they want.
BioWare teased some of the party members in Dragon Age: Inquisition, including the hulking warrior, Iron Bull, and Sera, the elven archer; a Grey Warden named Blackwall and a powerful Orlesian mage named Vivienne were also briefly showcased. I didn't play Dragon Age II, but the gigantic dragon and myriad magic attacks have me eager to see more of the game in action.
Expect additional details and impressions of Dragon Age: Inquisition when we check in with BioWare from the showfloor later in the week.
