Turn 10 Announces Forza 5 Racing Game Of The Year Edition

by Jeff Cork on Jun 06, 2014 at 04:55 AM

Microsoft just announced the newest entry in the Forza Horizon series, but there's time for racers who just buckled into the Xbox One to catch up. Forza Motorsport 5, which was one of the console's launch titles, is getting the game of the year treatment.

IGN broke news of the game, which includes the content of the original release, as well as the Top Gear DLC. Turn 10 says the new edition will feature 18 tracks, including 15 from the base game, the previously released Road America and Long Beach tracks, as well as one they have yet to announce.

The game will be available for Xbox One on July 22 for $60.

Our Take
Seeing a first-party game with DLC rebundled into a collection is becoming less and less surprising. It's a good deal for people who decide to pick up the Kinect-free console next week, if they can hold out for a month.
