You Can Now Use Your Xbox One Controller On PC

by Mike Futter on Jun 05, 2014 at 04:54 AM

Microsoft has announced that Windows drivers for the Xbox One controller are now available. You can download them if you’re eager to make the switch, or you can wait for a Windows update coming in the near future.

Any game that features support for the Xbox 360 gamepad is supported. You can download the drivers from Major Nelson’s website.

Our Take
I’m looking forward to making this switch. The Xbox 360 gamepad has been my choice on PC, and I have a spare Xbox One controller just waiting for a home connected to Steam.
