Update: The free single-player campaign for Uncharted 3 seems to have disappeared from the PlayStation Store.

Original Story:

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception’s single-player campaign isn’t just available for PlayStation Plus members. If you have a United States PSN account, you can download it now at no charge.

We were able to test this for ourselves, and the purchase went through with no problem on an account that doesn’t have access to PlayStation Plus. You can initiate the download from your PS3 or the PlayStation Store web portal.

The multiplayer portion has been free-to-play for a while, so you can get the entire experience at no charge right now. Hurry though, because we aren't sure if this is a goof or intentional.

Our Take
This is a nice surprise. While I preferred Uncharted 2’s campaign, this is a no-brainer for anyone who doesn’t already own Uncharted 3 or the single-player portion via PlayStation Plus.
