The lights are on
Halo: Spartan Assault and Max: The Curse of Brotherhood have joined Xbox Live Games with Gold. The two titles were originally advertised without a specific date, but you can grab them now via the Xbox Games store.
Halo: Spartan Assault is a twin-stick shooter take on the series. Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a platformer that gives players a truly magic marker.
There’s no word if these will be available through the entire month or just for the first two weeks, so make this a priority before you get swept up in E3 madness. Also, be sure to get Dark Souls for Xbox 360 before that’s gone after June 15. For the rest of the June titles, head over to our previous coverage.
Thanks to reader Jarrid for the tip.
Our TakeBoth titles are worth a try, and I'm excited to finally dive into Max (which I really liked in preview at PAX Prime last year). As a reminder, Xbox One Games with Gold titles are tied to an active membership (just like PlayStation Plus).
