Mortal Kombat Creator Tweets Super Friends Video In Continuing Countdown
Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has been tweeting countdown numbers over the past few weeks, and yesterday he tweeted out the number nine.

The mysterious countdown seems to be pointing to something happening or being announced on June 2, which is nine days away. Last week, Boon tweeted something calling out an X. The assumption was that it was involved in Boon's countdown pointing to the number 10, but it did not line up with his countdown. Many are thinking it might have something to do with a crossover game, like Street Fighter X Tekken.
Much like his previous tweets, Boon humored those responding with ambiguous replies.

I'm thinking Ed Boon and NetherRealm have a pretty big announcement for June 2. I don't know what it is, but I think it's pretty smart to get the news out ahead of E3, where it has potential to get lost in the downpour of reveals..
