LittleBigPlanet Vita Developer Working On Original IP, Hunger

by Kyle Hilliard on May 21, 2014 at 03:36 PM

Tarsier Studios, co-developer on LittleBigPlanet Vita, recently released some concept art and a few details about an original project it is working on called Hunger.

Tarsier Studios revealed the game at the Nordic Game Conference where it was awarded funding for the game from the Nordic Game Program.

No gameplay or in-game screenshots were shown, but some concept art, like the image you see above was shown. You can find more art by heading here. Tarsier describes the game as a 3D action-adventure with stealth and exploration elements. The game stars a young kidnapped girl forced to work in an underwater resort that caters to the elite.

No platform has been confirmed, but it will likely appear on a PlayStation console as the studio signed an exclusivity deal with Sony in 2010.

Our Take
What limited plot details that have been revealed make me think of Spirited Away, a movie I am a big fan of. The concept art is also very striking. I am very excited to learn more about this game.
