First Footage From The Set Of Star Wars Episode VII Appears Online
Details are still scant on what's in store for the next Star Wars film, but a new video promoting Star Wars' partnership with UNICEF shows some footage from the set, and a new alien character.
The puppet alien character making a cameo is likely a background character, but he offers at least a small taste of what we can expect from the new Star Wars.
Regarding the purpose of the video, which actually has little to do with promoting the film, it details a contest that will place one luck y fan in the next Star Wars film. It also celebrates Disney's $1 million contribution to Star Wars: Force for Change, an organization raising money for UNICEF. You can find out more about it and the contest by heading here.
EA, who is in charge of the Star Wars license as it relates to video games, says it won't be making games directly related to this upcoming film, but this early peek offers a look at the future of Star Wars, and in turn a look a the future of Star Wars video games. Star Wars Episode VII will be released in theaters on December 18, 2015. You can learn more about the cast by heading here.
