Xbox Live's Free-To-Play Ascend: Hand Of Kul Heading To PC

After gaining 2.5 million players on Xbox Live, Signal Studios has decided to expand the Ascend: Hand of Kul operation.

The PC version of Ascend: Hand of Kul will be available to download on Steam on May 20. It's online free-to-play action-RPG – a much different genre than Signal Studios' previous games, Toy Soldiers and its sequel Toy Soldiers: Cold War.

Our Take
Ascend: Hand of Kul was among the first of Xbox Live's free-to-play games. It's a little surprising to see it abandon its Xbox 360 exclusivity, but ultimately it will be a benefit for the developer.
