The lights are on
Hearthstone’s upcoming single-player campaign, Curse of Naxxramas, will feature a smattering of new cards, many of which are flavorfully in-theme with the towering World of Warcraft raid dungeon. Not surprisingly, one of the big themes that we’re seeing from the set so far is a big focus on deathrattle effects. Here’s the Rogue card that was unveiled today, Anub’ar Ambusher:
Even bigger and scarier than the Chillwind Yeti’s 4/5 frame at the same cost, the Anub’ar Abusher does come with a potential drawback. If you don’t have any other minions on the table the ability won’t hurt you, and there’s even the possibility that you can build your deck to get benefits from picking back up your friendlies, such as getting an extra boost from minions like Abusive Sergeant. Yeah, this creepy crawly is definitely going to see some play.
Oh, and in case you missed it, Blizzard also revealed this upcoming Warrior weapon a few days ago, and it looks like it has a lot of potential!
