The lights are on
Undoubtedly, many gamers have been making some hard decisions about which new-gen console to bring into their home. With today’s announcement from Microsoft that the Xbox One will have a new version that does not come with Kinect, but at a $100 lower price point, that decision just got even harder.
What do you think of Microsoft’s decision? Are you more likely to consider an Xbox One purchase now that the price is the same as a PlayStation 4? Do you eventually plan to have both consoles connected at home?
On the other side of the coin, if you already purchased an Xbox One, what are your thoughts about a price drop so soon after release? Are you happy that Microsoft is moving away from mandatory support for the Kinect, or does it not matter for the way you use your console?
