You Can Pre-Order Transistor And Its Soundtrack Right Now

by Mike Futter on May 06, 2014 at 07:52 AM

Supergiant Games’ Transistor was one of our favorite titles at PAX East 2014, and the title is out in just two weeks. If you want to get a jump on things though, you can pre-order the game and its soundtrack right now.

The game is available for pre-order now on Steam and PlayStation Network for PlayStation 4. On PSN, the game will cost $19.99. For Steam users, there is a choice between the game for $19.99 and a game and soundtrack bundle for $29.98.

The soundtrack will also be available from Supergiant directly, with the added option of a $15 digital-plus-CD bundle. Darren Korb, the composer behind Bastion’s soundtrack, returns for Supergiant’s second outing.

You can read our most recent preview of the game for more information. For more on the different options, you can visit Supergiant’s website. Transistor will be released on May 20.

Our Take
I know I will be playing Transistor. I just haven’t decided which platform I want to play on yet. If you had the slightest interest in Bastion, this one is worth looking into.
