The lights are on
Spike Chunsoft, the developer behind the currently Japan-exclusive Attack on Titan 3DS game, is apparently looking to bring the game to North America.
Speaking with Siliconera, a source from Spike Chunsoft said it is currently shopping the game to North American publishers. The game release in Japan last year and sold very well, to the point where it has struggled to meet in demand.
If you're unfamiliar, Attack on Titan is a popular anime that is starting to gain a following in North America. In it, gigantic humanoid Titan creatures roam the Earth giving humanity a run for its survival.
Our TakeI don't know a lot about Attack on Titan, but not by choice. It has been recommended to me by many people – I just haven't found the time to dive into the show. It sounds cool, though, and the success of the game in Japan must mean it's a pretty good adaptation. I don't know if there is a large enough audience for an Attack on Titan game yet, but I still hope the game makes its way to the United States.
