NHL 15 Comes To New-Gen Consoles With New Broadcasting Crew
For years, hardcore fans requested more from the broadcasting crew in EA Sports' NHL series. Longtime duo Bill Clement and Gary Thorne weren't bad, but the commentary grew too stale and dated. EA Sports recognized the deficiency, and moved to address it with the first new-gen hockey title.
NHL 15 taps NBC A-team Mike "Doc" Emrick and Eddie Olczyk to man the booth, aided by TSN analyst Ray Ferraro.
EA Sports also announced it plans to host another voting bracket to determine the cover athlete for this year's game. Last year, legendary Devils netminder Martin Brodeur held off upcomer Sergei Bobrovsky of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
