The lights are on
Valve and Taito are teaming up to bring Left 4 Dead to Japanese arcades this year. The game, which was first teased as “Project Z” is now known as Left 4 Dead: Survivors.
Unfortunately, there’s no gameplay yet or even a look at a cabinet. We do know that it will be part of Taito’s Nesica.net service, which also hosts Persona 4 Arena and other titles.
We’ve reached out to Valve for more information.

Our TakeI miss the days of going down the shore and playing video games when I should have been out on the beach. Mortal Kombat 2, X-Men, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Revolution X all ate my quarters in those days. I’d be delighted to have one nearby and check out what Left 4 Dead might look like in arcade form.
