The lights are on
LucasFilm has announced the cast of the upcoming seventh film in the Star Wars saga. A new roster of actors will join original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker.
Roles have not been announced yet, but LucasFilm has confirmed that John Boyega (24: Live Another Day), Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver (Girls), Oscar Isaac (Inside Llewyn Davis), Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings), Domhnall Gleeson (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), and Max von Sydow (Minority Report) will be appearing.
EA has said that it won’t be making games based off of the movies, but these characters could be ripe for side stories. Chances are if that happens, we’ll see these actors popping up in titles from DICE or Visceral.
Star Wars Episode VII will be released in theaters on December 18, 2015. J.J. Abrams is directing.
Our TakeThe more details we get about the upcoming Star Wars films, the more excited I become that they are happening. December 2015 will be here before we know it.
