The lights are on
April is coming to a close, and with it, the month’s Instant Game Collection. PlayStation Plus members can pick up Velocity Ultra from Futurlab (which also has a game in next month’s roster) when the store updates on Tuesday, April 29.
Today is your last chance to pick up Monster Hunter Freedom Unite (PSP, playable on Vita). We’ve also entered the last week of availability for Mercenary Kings (PS4) and Batman: Arkham City (PS3). Be sure to claim them before they’re gone.

Our TakeI had a chance to Futurlab’s upcoming Velocity 2X, and was impressed by the blend of bullet hell, platforming, and puzzle solving. I’m looking forward to giving this a try in preparation for the upcoming release of the sequel.
Finally! Ive been waiting all month for this
I have this game from the videos I've seen this is a very challenging game now I gotta download and play it.
This game is very challenging from what I've played so far of it (21 levels out of 50). Unlucky for me, I bought it last month during a sale. Then again, at least I got a chance to play it earlier than everybody waiting for it to become free.
I still don't see how this qualifies as any kind of bullet hell game.
I mean it's an overhead shooter, to be sure, but there are no curtains of bullets, no intricate patterns to weave through, no overwhelming number of enemies.
I also am not a fan of the bullet hell, as I think it took shmups off into a navel gazing corner to die a slow death.
But Donpachi this is not.
I wish the indie game devs would get out of the 80's.
I just cleared out a bunch of space on my PS3 so I'm ready for whatever they throw at me...well I cleared out enough to where I've got like 45 GB free.
