The lights are on
Chadtronic on YouTube, a channel which usually specializes in playing Nintendo games on the Oculus Rift, recently decided to give Nintendo's former biggest rival a test run with a Sonic the Hedgehog game.
The mod seen in the video below isn't an official Sega Sonic game. Instead it's called Sonic GDK, which is a collection of source codes allowing modders to build Sonic-like worlds in Unreal Engine.
Even outside of the Oculus Rift applications, it's pretty amazing to see a Sonic game played from the first-person perspective. For more of Chadtronic's Oculus Rift experiments, head here for Ocarina of Time, and here for Mario Kart.
