Titanfall’s First DLC Map Is A Collage Of Familiar Locations
Respawn has given us a new look at the first of three maps coming in the Expedition pack. This virtual reality playground borrows from Angel City and Airbase Sierra with a healthy addition of fun traversal opportunities.
The map is set in the training simulator from the tutorial (which some players have been through multiple times). The IMC will begin in a part of the map similar to the airbase, though you’ll be able to see some artifacting that reminds you that it’s a simulation. The Militia begin in a nighttime version of Angel City.
In between the themed areas, the hallways and structures look like the sterile environments in the tutorial. The map also has Last Titan Standing in mind, but without much clutter. Expect heavy firefights.

The map is designed for lots of wall running, but with consideration for titans. The hulking mechs can capture two of the hardpoints, though one of them will put them in danger thanks to a narrow hallway perfect for rodeoing.
The Expedition DLC will be out in May for $9.99, or as part of the $24.99 season pass. For more, check out our reviews of the Xbox One and PC version and the Xbox 360 version.
