EA Offers Digital Deluxe Edition For Dragon Age: Inquisition

by Mike Futter on Apr 22, 2014 at 06:47 AM

EA has announced a Digital Deluxe edition and Inquisitor edition for Dragon Age: Inquisition. You can order the former right now on Origin for a $10 premium over the $59.99 standard edition. The other will likely be a retail collection and does not yet have a price attached.

The deluxe edition comes with a number of in-game items, including a throne, two mounts, weapons, armor, horse armor, a soundtrack, and unannounced other items. The title launches on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and PC on October 7. For more, be sure to check out this morning's new trailer and screenshots announcing the release date.

Our Take
It’s pretty obvious what the weapons, armor, and mounts will do. However, we’re not sure why a throne is important in the game. Also, the inclusion of horse armor gives me a chuckle. If this is worth $10 to you, head on over to Origin to pre-order. As for the physical edition, expect a heftier price tag.
