Weekend Warrior 4/18/2014

by Isaac Federspiel on Apr 18, 2014 at 02:00 PM

Unsurprisingly, parts of the office are still obsessed with Dark Souls II and Infamous: Second Son, and likely will be for the foreseeable future. Others are planning to put time into League of Legends, possibly inspired by the League of Legends Championship series currently happening. What are you planning on playing this weekend?

Mike Futter: This weekend, I’ll be diving wholeheartedly into Infamous: Second Son (finally). I’ll also be spending some time with Broforce, Awesomenauts, and possibly some League of Legends with friends.

Kyle Hilliard: I think I have finally passed the line where Dark Souls II has me excited to keep playing, as opposed to just being a frustrating experiment in difficulty. I think I will be spending more time with that game this weekend. I also want to check out the recent Infamous: Second Son update, and continue along the Paper Trail DLC.

Ben Hanson: This weekend I'm hoping to spend a little more time with Hearthstone, FTL, and Hitman GO on my iPad. It's weird that I have both Infamous and Dark Souls sitting in my consoles and the iPad is my destination for gaming this weekend. What have I become?

Jeff Marchiafava: I didn’t get a ton of Dark Souls II time in this week, so hopefully this weekend will be a return to form. Last time I played, I stopped at Black Gulch, which looks pretty terrible. I’ll also probably end up playing more Knights of Pen & Paper, for as long as my phone battery lasts.

Isaac Federspiel: Last night I got a long-awaited email inviting me to play Heroes of the Storm. So it goes without saying that part of my weekend will be stolen away with Blizzard’s currently in its alpha stage MOBA. I’m also planning on playing a decent amount of League of Legends. It’s a very MOBA-heavy weekend for me!
