The lights are on
Across all multiplayer games, regardless of genre, what is your favorite multiplayer map? With new Titanfall DLC on the way adding new maps to the game, it makes us ponder some our favorites from other multiplayer games.
After a recent reader discussion where I talked about how much I miss Halo 2's online mode, it probably won't surprise anyone to learn I have fond memories of many Halo maps. I have a picture of Zanzibar above I really enjoy Midship, and there is always the fan-favorite Blood Gulch, but I think my favorite map of all time has to be Halo's Hang 'em High.
Of course, there are many, many other maps outside of the ones found in Halo. I am also a big fan of Super Smash Bros.'s Hyrule Temple stage and Goldeneye's Facility level, for example.
What are your favorites, but more importantly, which one stands above all the rest?

I'm not going to lie, but my favorite map would have to be one of the Thousands of custom maps created on both Far Cry 2 and 3, man some people have real talent on those games when it comes to map layout and design! :)
Bloodgulch. That is all.
The curse level in Unreal tournament.I know the archives is a classic in goldeneye 64,but the like the secret area that has a shield belt.XD
Lookout from halo 2. I think it was in reach as well.
Halo has some of the best multiplayer maps in existence. It makes me think about how epic Destiny's maps will be.
Some of my favorites from Halo are Blood Gulch, Boarding Action, Hang 'Em High, Reflection, and Beaver Creek. Thems were the best.
Murohvanka (I think that's how you spell it) from world of tanks. Fun with any tank.
Gridlock from Gears of War
Hyrule Temple? That's the worst map in Melee. It's too big, and you can sit down in the bottom level way longer than the game should allow. I really like Blood Gulch. Favela in MW2 is great.
For me it's also been these 5 all from MW2: Terminal, Favela, Skidrow, Estate, and Rust
My current favorite map is Halo 4's Adrift. I like the industrial spaceship aesthetic, and I tend to do well on the map.
Halo: Blood Gulch/Coagulation/Hemorrhage, Lockout, Zanzibar, Turf
Battlefield 3: Kharg Island (sniping from the mountain on the edge of the map was intense. 800+m headshots), Operation Firestorm.
BLOOD GULCH!!!
Shoot I don't know. I've always liked Nuketown and other maps but can't think of many on the top of my head right now.
Gears of War 2: Blood Drive and Jacinto.
Smash Bros: Final Destination and Nuke Town....so much chaos on that map.
Well Ita a good thing you'll be able to play Zanzibar again this winter on xone! (Most likely anyway)
Summoners Rift (man i'm boring)
Unreal Tournament: Facing Worlds. Halo 4: Exile. CoD Black Ops: Summit. Unreal Tournament 2004: Torlan. Those are my favorite maps ever. Good times. There were also a couple maps from Battlefield Vietnam that are close runner ups but I can't remember the names.
