Titanfall Matchmaking Enters Gen2 For Attrition And Hardpoint
If you’ve been playing Titanfall over the past couple of weeks, you may have noticed that the matchmaking isn’t ideal. It’s not uncommon to get matched up against significantly more experienced players, leading to lopsided fights.
In response to player feedback, Respawn beta tested and has now rolled out new matchmaking. The effects can be seen in attrition and hardpoint modes right now.
Respawn says it will continue to monitor and update matchmaking for other modes. For more on Titanfall, check out our review.

This is a necessary step, as matchmaking was the weakest part of the Titanfall experience. I’m looking forward to diving back in to some fairer fights now that the pairing has been improved.
