iFruit App Comes To Vita, Works With GTA V On Xbox 360

by Mike Futter on Apr 02, 2014 at 03:52 AM

GTA V fans can now download the iFruit companion app on the PlayStation Vita. But what if you own Grand Theft Auto V on 360? Can you still benefit from the Vita app?

After a quick test, we can confirm that all of your existing iFruit data (which connects to the Rockstar Social Club) is present on the Vita version. Any additional tweaking you do to your LS Customs vehicles and any collars and tricks you unlock for Chop will be available no matter which version of GTA V you own.

You can download the app right now from the Vita PlayStation store. For more on Grand Theft Auto V, check out our review.

Our Take
The iFruit app isn’t the most robust of companion apps, but it’s a neat little diversion if you’re playing GTA V. The LS Customs car customization section is the most useful, giving you the opportunity to adjust your vehicles on the go and spend your time in game wreaking havoc.
