The lights are on
Blizzard went all out for its April Fools' Day prank with a website and video devoted to the announcement of its fighting game, Outcasts: Vengeance of the Vanquished.
You can check out the short teaser video below, which references Street Fighter without apology, as well as the fake game's website here.
As the name implies, Outcasts:
Vengeance of the Vanquished features outcasts from assorted Blizzard games. Some are unsurprising, like D. Cain from Diablo, or Kael’thas Sunstrider from Warcraft, but there are some weird characters, too like the car Dirt Devil or the Battlecruiser from Starcraft. You'll also find a collection of stages, and Blizzard's fake fighting stick, which includes a built in credit card machine for microtransactions, which openly allow, and even encourage pay-to-win scenarios.
You can check out the full website here.
