[Update] Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC Rolling Out On Xbox One
Update 2: Now DICE is saying that Naval Strike is rolling out to Premium members on Xbox One. Proceed at your own risk.
Update: DICE has provided more information on the reasoning behind the PC delay of the Naval Strike DLC. Additionally, the studio has also announced a delay to the Xbox One version of the content.
"We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs," DICE shared via a post on the Battlefield Blog. "Additionally, we have decided to delay the Xbox One version of Naval Strike because we want to address issues in the animation system that hinder players from engaging targets in set circumstances using popular weapon configurations."
DICE aims for an early April release on both platforms, and assures Premium members they'll still get their two week exclusivity period. The Naval Strike update is now live on Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.

Today marks the release (for Premium members) of Battlefield 4’s next DLC, Naval Strike… unless you are a PC player. DICE is delaying the release of the content indefinitely on that platform.
If you are a Premium member on one of the other four platforms (Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3), you’ll be able to start playing today. For PC players, you’ll be waiting until DICE irons out some problems.
“We’ve detected an issue and it needs to be solved,” DICE wrote in a blog post on the Battlefield website. “Quality is our number one priority and we will not release Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC until we feel it meets the highest quality level possible. Once we have a confirmed date for PC, we’ll be sure to update those players on our official channels. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing everyone on the Battlefield.”
Battlefield 4 Naval Strike adds four new aquatic-heavy maps and introduces a modified mode from Battlefield 2142. Carrier Assault tasks players with infiltrating and destroying an enemy vessel before the opposing team can accomplish their own goal of eliminating yours.
Battlefield 4 has been plagued by issues since its October release, prompting DICE to temporarily delay work on DLC and and other projects in order to fix the game.

While it’s the lesser of two evils to delay broken content, the fact that DICE can’t get its act together and meet deadlines on what used to be the franchise’s primary platform is astonishing. EA says the Battlefield brand hasn’t been damaged by the problems over the past five months. I think you’ll find many gamers simply disagree.
