Titanfall Boosts U.K. Sales Of Xbox One

by Matthew Kato on Mar 17, 2014 at 05:07 AM

Respawn's online multiplayer Titanfall has greatly aided sales of the Xbox One system in the U.K.

The game debuted number one in the U.K. charts. Accordingly, sales for Xbox One have gone up 96 percent from the previous week, with the Titanfall bundle for the system accounting for 70 percent of sales, according to GfK Chart-Track. The non-Titanfall version of the system was also reduced in price from £429 to £399.

Dark Souls II took second place in the charts.

Our Take:
If only for the price savings of the bundle alone, a similar surge can be expected for the platform here in the U.S.
